It seems we have
gone from one extreme to the next, a brutally hot summer in 2010 and now
we are in the midst of an extremely snowy 2010/2011 winter. I realize this past
year was a tough one for everyone to get away from their golf
courses with the extreme heat and I just wanted to say thank
you to everyone who found a way to make it out to some
of the meetings this past year. I have thoroughly enjoyed
serving this membership the last several years and especially
this past year as your president I believe we have a strong
nucleus and great thing going on right now with the BGCSA.
I hope all of you will continue to support this organization in
the coming years. It has been a wonderful experience to get
to know some of you a little better this year and to strengthen
existing relationships I have had with many of you since
coming back to the area. Looking ahead, we have a great
board in place for next year that I am confident will continue
to grow our organization and make the right decisions to
keep the BGCSA a successful operation in the future. Again,
a trying year but one we persevered through and hopefully
Mother Nature will be kinder to all of us in 2011. Thanks so
much for the opportunity to serve you and 1look forward to
seeing everyone in the coming year.
